A Graditude Idea Plus New Music Info!

Hi,

I hope you are enjoying the summer! The sun is out more often and I am back to taking my walks in the morning and I'm grateful! Which leads me to share something with you I thought was cool....

A friend was telling me about her co-worker who keeps a gratitude journal. Everyday she writes down at least three things she is grateful for no matter what and keeps it in a journal that she can look back on. I've heard of a gratitude journal before but I've never actually done one. Hearing this inspired me to start taking more time to be grateful every day and I plan to start writing them down in my journal. Being more aware of the blessings in my life helps me to have a more positive outlook and be more... grateful! Let me know if you've done this or plan on doing it! I love to hear what you are up to!

NEW STUFF AND COOL NEWS!

We have a fun acoustic set planned for the Roof Top at Penny Road Pub in Barrington, IL this Sat June 30th at 8:00pm and can't wait to hang out with you, so please come join us! We'll play some new songs as well as some of our other favorites and hopefully yours too!:) Special guest Michael Riser will play a few of songs including the duets that I join him on! Two Vanessa E songs are up for possible placements in two major ads! One is for an electronic tablet and one is for a sporting ad. Fingers crossed and prayers up! I'll keep you posted. If we don't get this one, it's just a matter of time as multiple songs of mine are being pitched to various film and tv projects. Remind me I said this if I don't get it and I'm crying in my pillow!

New Insider Club Song! My newest song is called Blanket Of Sunshine and it's the summer song I've been talking about trying to get done! It's totally different from anything we've done before and has a reggae feel. I don't want to give too much away but I can tell you it's warm and fuzzy and a feel good! Enough said!
